With over 20 years of experience working with immigrant families and multilingual students, I've dedicated my career to helping people navigate education, overcome language barriers, and discover new opportunities.
As a Colombian educator in Florida, I understand that becoming a teacher is about more than passing an exam. It's about finding your path, building confidence, and feeling prepared when you step into the classroom.
That's why I created Dígame Licenciada — a bilingual space offering personalized teacher certification guidance, FTCE Professional Education Test (083) preparation, and one-on-one teacher coaching.

¿Y cómo llegué hasta aquí?My journey into education wasn't a straight line.
My path hasn’t been a straight line. My academic and professional background includes graphic design, education, and marketing analytics, but my story also includes the many “immigrant jobs” that helped me build a life in the U.S.—from nanny, housecleaner to waitress.
Eventually, my experiences led me to Florida classrooms, where I’ve worked as a teacher and ESOL Coordinator, supporting students and navigating the same certification system that many aspiring educators find overwhelming. Along the way, I discovered that our degrees, professional experience, language, and life skills can open doors into education we may not even know exist.
That discovery—and wanting to help others find those doors—is why Dígame Licenciada was born. 🍎
